Building permit obtained for project “Orion” in Zurich West
A new building with 23,000 m2 accommodating office, commercial and restaurant space will be realised in the up-and-coming urban centre of Zurich West. Construction to start in Q1 2018.
The current two buildings located at Förrlibuckstrasse 178/180 and Hardturmstrasse 181, 183, 185 in Zurich West, which were realised in the 1980s, will be replaced by a new construction. PSP Swiss Property has been the owner of the site since December 2002.
The new construction will meet future tenants’ requirements regarding flexibility of use and will fulfil the latest sustainability standards. An improvement of the surroundings is also planned. Construction is likely to last until the end of 2020. The investment total will amount to approximately CHF 120 million.
Marketing of the rental space, which is scheduled to start in spring of 2018, has been assigned to CBRE.
