A «Great Place to Work»

Our employees appreciate the open dialogue, the flat hierarchies and our manageable size. We create a pleasant working environment that promotes exchange and fosters good health.

We promote our employees’ professional and social skills and support their professional development by means of internal courses and contributions to external training and further education. We also train apprentices.

PSP Swiss Property has been certified as a “Great Place to Work” (GPTW) several times.

Fit@Work & in Balance

Comprehensive and effective health management is essential for sustainable business success. It not only promotes the well-being of our employees, but also increases their performance and reduces absences due to illness and accidents. A safe and inspiring work environment, health-promoting offers and a good work-life balance are essential for this.

To give even more weight to the issue of mental and physical health, in 2024 we introduced a systematic, targeted and sustainable occupational health management programme (OHM) under the motto “Fit@Work & in Balance”. In doing so, we are guided by the ideas and specifications of the “Gesundheitsförderung Schweiz” foundation, which is supported by the cantons and insurers and monitored by the federal government. The OHM is managed by a five-person group made up of people from different departments.

In 2024, in addition to developing the OHM concept, the occupational health and safety mission statement was also revised. Furthermore, surveys were conducted on the use of various fitness equipment and the issue of presenteeism was examined. According to the Great Place to Work survey, the statement that employees can report sick without feeling guilty if they feel unwell applies to 95% of employees. Questions about work-life balance also received high approval ratings.

Equal opportunities and diversity

It is our company’s aim to reflect the diversity of society. We encourage and desire co-operation between the generations and pay attention to a balanced team composition, mixed-age project groups and interdisciplinary exchange. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. In 2024, training was held for all employees on the topics of discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying. It was conducted as online training and supplemented by an additional face-to-face workshop. Newly recruited employees are also required to complete this training. In this context, the internal directive on protection against discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment was also revised.

In the Great Place to Work survey, 90 to 100% of respondents agreed with the statements that they feel they are treated fairly – regardless of age, nationality, gender and sexual orientation. We regularly carry out an equal pay analysis and were awarded the “Fair-ON-Pay+” certificate on the basis of the good results. This confirms that PSP Swiss Property is a fair employer.
